Please assist us in keeping your information current by notifying us of changes to your Personal Information. You may correct your Personal Information anytime. In an effort to deliver you the best possible website experience, we will communicate with your regularly with tips, advice, articles to maximise your career development. The nature and frequency of these messages will vary depending upon your settings and the information we have about you. If you do not wish to receive communication, you can opt-out of these types of communications by following the opt-out provision. In the event you elect not to receive any future contacts from Top Gun, we will endeavour to remove your name from all of our contact lists. However, information is sometimes difficult, if not impossible, to remove from all data sources, and we can only promise to endeavour to remove you from any lists we control. To evaluate the Websites and ensure that we are providing content and Services of interest to you. Since the SuperResume and Job Top Gun websites are career sites, we give you three options regarding the accessibility of your resume:
i. You can store your resume in our database, but not allow it to be searchable by potential
employers. Not allowing your resume to be searchable means that you can use it to apply
for a job online, but employers and recruiters will not have access to search it through our resume database product.
ii. If you allow your resume to be searchable without making it confidential and hiding your
contact information, then all persons with access to our searchable resume database (or
copies thereof) will have access to your resume.
iii. If you have a confidential resume, but apply to a job posting on Job Top Gun, the employer
to whom you send your resume will be able to view your contact information.
We attempt to limit access to our searchable resume database (or copies thereof) only to employers, recruiters, hiring managers, head hunters, and human resource professionals, but cannot guarantee that other persons will not gain access to this database. We are not responsible for the use made of resumes by third parties who access such resumes while they are in our searchable database. However, the portions of your searchable resume (not your contact information) that are automatically made public are accessible to anyone who uses Top Gun’s services. You may remove your resume from Job Top Gun at anytime, but employers, recruiters, and others who access the Job Top Gun resume database may have retained a copy of your resume in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of resumes or profiles in these instances.
7. SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your concern over the safety and security of your Personal Information on the Internet and have implemented procedures to promote the safety and security of the information we collect online. We use industry standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information.
8. DISCLOSURE FOR LAWFUL PURPOSES
Top Gun reserves the right to access and disclose specific user information when we determine that such disclosure is necessary to comply with law to cooperate with or seek assistance from law enforcement or to protect the interests or safety of Jobtopgun or other users of the Sites. Top Gun may attempt to obtain the prior consent of the individual before disclosing Personal Information, but it has no obligation to do so.
